A simple love of cooking. That's all it took for Executive Chef Josh Hillyard, native of Louisville, to begin his life in Food. His love began at a young age. At 19, he moved to Los Angeles to work and attend the California School of Culinary Arts. There his food horizons were broadened, working in premier hotels and exploring the LA food scene.
After moving back to Louisville and gaining experience in some of Louisville’s most coveted restaurants, he earned an Executive Chef position that he's held for the last 7 years. Chef's goal has always been simple…to create tasty dishes, use great ingredients, and do things the right way.
Jeff Cockerham began his restaurant career as a dishwasher at the original Rocky’s Sub Pub at 15. His strong work ethic, eye for opportunity and detail earned him his first GM position by 23.
Now with 30 years of restaurant experience, 20 as a GM, Managing Partner, and Area Director, Jeff has a broad-gauge of restaurant experience. He enjoys managing and fine tuning operations to ensure his guests have an optimal experience. This knowledge contributed to the 4-Star rating one of Louisville’s premier upscale steak and seafood locations received while Jeff served as GM.
After working together for the past several years, their combined experience presented a unique opportunity. Knowing from their own lives, raising children and working long hours makes it difficult to prepare meals, spend enough quality time with our loved ones, and live a fuller life.
